How to install plugins in WordPress ? it is an headache for beginers. I am assuming you have already installed wordpress on your server or local system (with xampp,wamp or lamp). if you are using wordpress.com then you can not install plguin there.

Once you have downloaded the plugin to install login to your wordpress dashboard after login you will see screen like this screenshot
- Now after successful login click on plugins to install new plugin and then click add new button at top of the page
Once you click on add new button you will see listing of wordpress free plugin and a upload plugin button on at top of the page
now click on upload plugin button after click window will ask you to choose or drag and drop plugin zip file.choose your plugin compressed file and click on install button next to that file option.
once plugin installation process complete click on activate plugin button to activate the plugin. you can also activate and deactivate by clicking on plugins. menu in left pane.
